How to fix same Icon problem

Hello Friends,

Today I am here to solve a common problem created by us by mistake in our computer. Have you ever face this type of problem when every program have same icon and you are not allow to open any program. If yes, So today I will fix the problem. Look at the picture below-

Here all programs icon has changed into docx format. We can not open every program in Microsoft word. So Don’t Panic. I will solve that for you. What do you have to do is that Click on Start then,

1.   Search Regedit in Start menu

    
      
       2.   Then you will see a list in the left side

  Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER  in the list.

   

       3.  Then Click on Software in the list below.

  
4.    Then Click on Microsoft in the next step.

    
         5. Then you will find Windows below after that click on Current Version

      
      6.    After that click on explorer then, File Exts.

 7.    Then you will see  .lnk extension after that delete User Choice in .lnk

  After that restart your computer you problem will be solved
